"Putt up with this no more"

Films: The Greenskeeper (2002)

Alias: George Anderson

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Golf is...an iffy sport. Like any typical backyard pass-the-time sport, people tend to get up in arms about it for the silliest reasons. Then again, no one gives any thought to the proverbial janitor of the courses. The greenskeeper is never on anyone's mind...until now.

History: George Anderson was the local greenskeeper of a Golf Club before an accidental explosion horribly burned his body. After going into isolation, George was driven mad by it all, and became an urban legend of fright. But when his son Allen shows up for a party to get his mind off of things, who's to fear more? The greenskeeper, or his son's insane uncle bent on using George's reputation as a front to kill everyone and become the true heir to the Club?

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After Allen's uncle reveals his evil plan, George drops his insanity, and takes the villain on in a violent battle. It ends with the uncle getting decapitated by the blades of a lawn mower, and the greenskeeper getting stabbed via sprinkler hose. He uses his last few minutes of life to apologize to his son for his crimes.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The murders are certainly something, but in the end, this poor disfigured greenskeeper was played for a fool by a man consumed by greed. It's hard not to feel sorry for him as he dies contemplating his actions. Still, nice outfit.

Trivia: -The Greenskeeper was played by John Rocker, who's career was actually defined by baseball. Guys, you might have picked the wrong sport to make your movie about. Still, his casting did give this film a bit of a publicity push.

-This film was known in Mexico as "El jardinero maldito", which roughly translates to "The Damned Gardener".
